Age restrictions

 

Please note the following age restrictions on piercings:

PC = Parent Consent       I.D. = Photo id e.g. passport, driving licence/provisional.

Ear lobes - age 10 PC - 16 PC/I.D.

Navel - age 14 PC - 16 PC/I.D.

Nose - age 14 PC - 16 PC/I.D.

Ear= Helix/forward helix/rook/daith/tragus - age 14 PC - 16 PC/I.D.

Ear= Conch/inner conch/snug/anti tragus/orbital/scaffolding- age 16 PC/I.D.

Septum age 16 PC - I.D.

Eyebrow age 16 PC- I.D.

Tongue age 16 PC - I.D.

Surface piercing age 16 PC - I.D.

Anti navel age 16 PC - I.D.

Nipples age 18 I.D.

 

PLEASE NOTE I REQUIRE I.D. FOR ALL PIERCINGS REGARDLESS OF YOUR AGE!

 

 

 

 

​Please note these healing times are appropriate, based upon the average healing times experienced by most clients. The rate at which your piercing may heal is affected by a variety of factors – it is nothing to be concerned about if your piercing heals much faster or slower than this guide   please get in touch if you have any questions about your piercing.

 

Microdermal implants – 3 months

Ear Lobe – 6 - 8 weeks

Ear Cartilage including Tragus, Anti-tragus, Upper and Lower Conch, Helix, Snug, Daith, Industrial, Rook etc – 3 to 9 months but can take much longer.

Translobe / Transverse Lobe – 6  months +

Navel – 6 - 12 months

Nipple – 2 - 6 months (up to 12 months in some cases)

Tongue – 4 - 8 weeks to fully heal (however the worst of the discomfort is over within the first two weeks and the jewellery can be downsized after this time)

Lip / Labret – 6 - 8 weeks (Jewellery can be downsized after 3 weeks)

Medusa – 6 weeks (Jewellery can be downsized after 3 weeks)

Madonna – 6 weeks (Jewellery can be downsized after 3 weeks)

Vertical or Horizontal Lip – 6 - 12 weeks

Eyebrow – 2 - 3 months

Septum – 4 - 6 weeks

Nostril – 5 - 6 months (no jewellery changed for 3 months at minimum)

Surface Piercings – commonly around 6 months but can take well over a year.
